Dustin Vu serves as the Project Director at Vu Design & Build Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston and began his career as a mechanical design engineer, specializing in HVAC systems. In 2019, Dustin joined MEP Green Design & Build PLLC. as a Project Manager/Coordinator, where he successfully led the mechanical design team and oversaw all construction efforts. Now, as Project Director at Vu Design & Build Inc., Dustin brings a wealth of expertise in construction processes, bidding, codes, standards, and quality control. His extensive experience in design and construction ensures the successful delivery of every project under his leadership.

Tuan Tran is the Architectural Section Head at Vu Design & Build Inc., bringing extensive expertise in architecture, interior design, and construction. He leads projects from concept through permitting to construction, ensuring an aesthetic focus with a cost-effective, smooth construction process. Over the past decade, Tuan has built his experience working with real estate developers and international consulting firms on multifamily residential, office, and
industrial projects across Southeast Asia and Europe.

A LEED AP and WELL AP certified professional with proficiency in building energy modeling, Tuan collaborates closely with project teams to integrate energy-saving strategies and guide projects toward green building certifications, including LEED, WELL, and Title 24 CalGreen. 

Tuan holds a Doctor of Architecture from the University of Hawai‘i, United States, earned in 2013, and a Master of Architecture from the University of Architecture in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Mai Bushara, recently joined the VDB team, bringing her nearly two decades of experience. Her skills include contract management, cost control, budgets, project coordination, preconstruction, scheduling, estimating, procurement, closeout, and constructability reviews, and she has been able to manage multiple multi-million projects with compressed schedules and tight budget constraints. Past projects under her leadership include the $700 Million USC The Village Student Housing & Retail Mixed Use, Fullerton College Instructional Building, and LMU Science Center, to name a few. Ms. Bushara earned her MS in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Construction Management.

Kirk Baker brings nearly four decades of experience as a Superintendent, overseeing residential, commercial, and government projects across Southern California. His extensive background in managing large-scale developments, from luxury homes to multi-phase residential complexes, makes him a key asset to Vu Design & Build Inc. Kirk’s expertise in coordinating with developers, subcontractors, and city inspectors ensures smooth project execution from start to finish. His hands-on approach, attention to detail, and commitment to quality are invaluable in delivering successful projects on time and within budget.

Pat, Business Development Director at Vu Design & Build, Inc., brings over 35 years of industry experience spanning mechanical design, project management, construction services, equipment sales, and field startup. His previous roles include project designer, project engineer, project manager, and construction administrator at an MEP engineering firm specializing in commercial building design. Pat was also a co-owner of an equipment sales agency focused on HVAC, plumbing, and specialty fuel oil markets. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and is a registered Professional Engineer with a ProFM credential.
